The binary package below is intended for Registered and Unregistered clients.
When DAF is running Unregistered, authentication against each DAF User
Database will be limited to ten different users. When Registered,
PRO or STANDARD features are enabled depending on the license information.
To setup User Databases Extension no extra binary package is
needed.
With Microsoft
Windows Server
2003 Family and IIS 6.0,
DAF 5.0 (beta version) is required.

Installation Instructions and Troubleshooting |

To install DAF
- Download and Unzip the latest DAF Package
- Run SETUP.EXE and follow the instructions
- Create and Configure one or several DAF User Databases
If the setup program fails during a (re)installation or an
upgrade, please refer to (Re)Installation
or Upgrade Troubleshooting.
Upgrade from version 4.0 or 3.5 or newer:
When a previous version of DAF is installed, the new release can be installed in
the same directory. The previous release does not need
to be Uninstalled.
Upgrade from version 3.0 or older:
Previous release MUST be Uninstalled
Remarks:
- All binary files part of DAF software are installed under the selected DAF
Directory. No files are copied or replaced in the NT system directory.
- In most cases, the installation will not require to restart the Server.
- All files in this package have been tested against virus with Norton
AntiVirus 5.0 for NT Server with the latest virus definition available.
