DAF Configuration Tool Overview
DAF Users Databases and Web Host are created and configured with the DAF Configuration Tool.
To launch DAF Configuration Tool:
The main window of the DAF Configuration Tool looks like this:
Add User DB: Create a new DAF
database
Remove User DB: Remove an existing DAF
database
Web Hosts: Define Web Host
Main Log File: Configure the main log
parameters
Live Log: Display the live log
window. With this option, you can visualize all information reported in real time by DAF.
Setup Summary: Display a summary
of the DAF configuration listed by IP address.
Installation Tool: Launch the
DAF Installation Tool.
Manager: Launch the DAF Manager
application.
Data Sources: Reports the number
of data source available, used and free.
Register: To be used to enter
your registration information.
Help: Launch the default browser
with the DAF documentation.
Database Button Bar: To be used
to select existing DAF databases.
Database Configuration Tab Bar:
Refers to the selected DAF database. To be used to configure the type (Text or ODBC), to
attach an IP address to a DAF database, and to set the Log options.

5) Concurrent Access Control Settings
6) E-mail Notification Settings
8) (Re)Start the DAF User database to activate the
new database or new settings
To
activate new settings for a DAF User Database, it is necessary to (Re)Start a DAF User Database.
