Configure e-mail notification

When a problem is detected, DAF can send a notification e-mail to three people.

To activate this option, you must specify a "Mail Server" to use and 1 to 3 destination e-mail addresses.

The button "Send test mail" immediately sends a small test e-mail using the parameters in the window.

ODBC broken connection:
With this option checked, DAF will send a notification e-mail, if a broken connection is detected, and if the first reconnection attempt failed. After a broken connection notification e-mail has been sent, another e-mail will be sent if DAF can reconnect.

all DAF authentication errors:
With this option checked, DAF will send a notification e-mail, when an authentication error occurs. For example, broken connection, out of memory, etc.
Since this option could generate thousands of messages, you may specify the minimum time between two messages.

Note that an e-mail message is sent only if a real problem is detected and not if a user simply cannot be found.
